Centre of Excellence

Our centre focuses on providing quality treatment and the highest level of care for both paediatric and adult patients with facial deformities, facial asymmetries, jaw pathologies, primary and secondary facial trauma, sleep apnea disorders, clefts and cranial anomalies, impacted wisdom teeth, and chronic jaw pain (TMJ disorders) that have failed to respond to conservative management.

We provide advanced treatments like 3D-assisted surgical planning, Software-Guided Orthognathic surgeries, Minimally Invasive aesthetic Facial surgeries, Soft and Hard tissue Laser surgeries, Total Joint Replacement (TMJ), TMJ arthroscopy, Resorbable plates for Pediatric patients, Cosmetic Facial Corrections, Facial and Dental implants, and Patient-Specific Implants (PSI).

Cranio – Maxillofacial surgeon

He practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including corrective jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery), craniofacial anomalies, and wisdom tooth removal.

Dr. Balaguhan is a fellow of Indian board-certified (IBOMS) and International board-certified (IBCSOMS), Maxillofacial surgeon. He has 15+ years of experience in Facial reconstructive surgery, Jaw joint (TMJ) reconstructive and keyhole Arthroscopic surgery, Complex facial trauma surgery, and Pediatric craniofacial surgery. He is giving a holistic approach to syndrome affected children to get their happy smiles.

He is a Principal and Head of the Department(OMFS) at the renowed institution “Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Dental Sciences”, and he is also a consultant in the various multi-specialty hospitals

His passion for orthognathic surgery made him to ardently reciprocate his experience to the students, by conducting more than 10 Hands-on courses and one live orthognathic surgical workshop of 6 operations per day under his guidance. He has organized more than 21 seminars and conferences both at the state and national levels.

He has widely published his research interest through more than 10 International and national journals. He participated in more than 30 conferences as a guest speaker both in the International and in India.

Dr. Kirthika Natarajan

Endodontist

She is the Director of Craniofacial Centre. Qualified her UG from Meenakshi university and post-graduate from SRM university as a gold medalist. She started her dental practice and running successfully.

Her specialty corners are complex endodontic problems, regenerative endodontics, and restoring the smiles for patients who have suffered from severe dental trauma injuries. She uses her skills, knowledge, and experience to ensure that all patients receive whole-patient dental care from the diagnostic stage to treatment planning and follow-up care with the latest types of equipment. She is working as a visiting consultant in renowned hospitals

Dr. Mathan Mohan

Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist

He is the Dean of Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Dental and Medical Sciences.Also, he is the Chief, Department of Oral &Maxillofacial Surgery and Head &Neck Services.He is also a senior and distinguished consultant at various renowed hospitals in Chennai.

He manages an entire gamut of disorders in the fields of Oral &Maxillofacial Surgery an Head and Neck Surgical Oncology.This also includes provision of emergency services pertaining to Facial trauma and Infections.

Plastic Surgeon

He is recognized for his efforts in patient education and has an excellent reputation for achieving a natural appearance for his patients

Dr.A.Sivakumar was honored to receive the best Doctor Award, an award given by the Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University at the time of Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the university. He has published Papers in the International Trauma Surgery Journal and Indian Aesthetician Journal.
