Facial Reconstructive Surgery

Facial Soft Tissue Reconstructive Surgery

Esthetic reshaping of the soft tissue of the face is a procedure that is performed after a person has experienced trauma or undergone surgery, with the aim of restoring the function of the affected area. This can be achieved through the use of a free flap, taken from the same individual, which offers the advantage of better color and contour.

Alternatively, implants can also be placed to achieve the desired aesthetic result. These treatment options are tailored to the specific needs of each patient, ensuring that the soft tissue of the face is restored to its optimal function and appearance.

Jaw Reconstructive Surgery

Reshaping or Recontouring of the jaw bones to enhance the form and function of the jaws known as orthognathic surgery.

Surgery is performed by harvesting bone graft from other parts of the patient body to the surgical site (good acceptance) or using synthetic material(implants).

Ear Reconstructive Surgery

Ear reconstructive surgery is a procedure done to reshape a damaged or malformed ear caused by genetic defects.

This can be achieved by using the patient's own tissues or by using synthetic (prosthetic) ears. The main aim of this surgery is to improve the appearance and function of the ear. In some cases, an otologist may also be involved in the process to provide hearing rehabilitation.

After the surgery, patients may experience improved self-esteem and confidence as they have a more natural-looking ear.

TMJ Reconstructive Surgery

TMJ Reconstructive Surgery is a procedure performed to reconstruct the joint between the base of the skull and lower jaw, known as the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).

This surgery is typically recommended for individuals who have experienced trauma, undergone previous surgery, or have suffered from an illness that has affected the joint space. During the procedure, an artificial prosthetic joint, which is custom-made, is used to replace the damaged or diseased joint. The primary goal of this surgery is to improve both the functional needs and aesthetic concerns of the patient.

By reconstructing the TMJ, individuals can regain normal jaw movement and alleviate any pain or discomfort associated with the joint dysfunction.

Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery

Microvascular reconstructive surgery is a highly advanced technique used for rebuilding or reconstructing tissue that has been damaged due to the removal of a tumor or illness.

This method involves using blood vessels, bones, and soft tissues, including skin and muscles, from other parts of the patient's body, such as the arm, rib, or back. A healthy flap, along with its blood supply, is taken from a remote site in the body and then transferred to the area that requires reconstruction.

This procedure allows for precise and effective restoration of the affected area, ensuring optimal functionality and aesthetic results.
